WVU Fashion, Dress and Merchandising: An exhibit of student and faculty work

WVU students of faculty in Fashion, Dress & Merchandising in the Davis College exhibit fashions and fashion design drawings exploring contemporary issues and sustainable practices. On Thursday, Jan. 24, Assistant Professor of Fashion, Dress & Merchandising Colleen Moretz and students will speak about contemporary fashion, with a light reception sponsored by Davis College, School of Design and Community Development.
Assistant Professor of Fashion Merchandising Elizabeth Shorrock’s spring 2019 class will be designing window displays on the 2nd floor of EVL, inspired by a visual artist using the WVU Libraries’ Myers Collection of art books. Displays will begin February 7 and rotate weekly through the semester. The Art in the Libraries committee will select their favorite window display. The student winner will receive meal vouchers compliments WVU Dining.
