Downtown Library Entryway Cases and West Virginia and Regional History Center
through Spring 2025
WVU art history students curated two exhibits around coins. The two cases in the lobby of the Downtown Library present unique and historical pennies around the great penny debate: should we keep them or let them go? In the West Virginia and Regional History Center, there is a case display featuring some of the ancient Roman coins in their collections, themed around Leaders and Lovers, and Faces of Power. WVU Art History Professor Megan Leight guided art history students Dom Smith and Jacob Taylor on these exhibitions.
