Health Sciences Library, Fall 2026 - Spring 2027
The West Virginia University Office of Interprofessional Education, in collaboration with WVU Libraries, honors faculty, staff, and students with Awards for Excellence in Interprofessional Education. Presented by Art in the Libraries, this exhibit highlights the scholarship and creative endeavors of our WVU community. Art in the Libraries develops exhibits and related programming across the Downtown, Evansdale, and Health Sciences Libraries to reach the University, the region, and the broader academic community.
This exhibit celebrates the faculty team that won the 2026 West Virginia University Interprofessional Education (IPE) Award. The collaborative team includes Ashleigh Barrickman, Lena Maynor, and Mary Stamatakis from the School of Pharmacy, alongside Amy Funk and Ashlee Sowards from the School of Dentistry's Department of Dental Hygiene. Together, they developed an innovative, six-semester simulation series focused on collaborative practice and the importance of continuity of care.
